Wine Tasting Notes
The unique personality of this wine is the fruit of a 2 hectare vineyard in the heart of the Rioja Alavesa. Quite possibly the highest in the area at 650 metres, with chalky clay earth at a 50% incline, this vineyard faces south and receives direct sunlight while remaining protected from cold north winds. This vineyard with thick wood vines has survived more than 60 years through meticulous care, thorough kilo and grape quality control, and the careful selection of only the best grapes at harvest time.
