Cask Time: 28
This winery began making wines in 1975 with the grapes from their own vineyards instilling a culture of top quality wines. The grapes from these vineyards are processed in the old winery of the town of Labastida where they are pampered and allowed to age without any hurry whatsoever, a totally natural process. In 1999, Jon Zamolloa began building the current winery.
The first vintage made in these new facilities was the vintage from the harvest of 2000. In the new facilities they have kept the same winemaking philosophy by giving priority to the quality of their wines and by giving them the necessary time to naturally settle in the tanks as well as in the casks and subsequently in the bottle before putting them on the market. This winery is proud to make high quality wines naturally.
