Vinification: De-stemmed grapes, long
maceration during 27 days. Ageing 18 months in the cask. (60% in
French oak and 40% in American oak). A further 2 years bottle-ageing.
The wine is dark cherry red colour. On the nose is
elegant and well-balanced with a predomination of ripe fruit aromas, a
hint of minerals, and a well-integrated reminder of the wood which
does not come through too strongly. On the palate, a balanced and
powerful attack and the promise of a long life ahead of it, with noble
tannins. Long lingering finish.
Ideal to accompany red
meat, game and rich casseroles. Best consumed at 19ºC
