He has been marketing his Rioja wines since 1969 in his bodega in Vitoria, Bodegas Garpe. In 1985, he founded Bodegas Amador García Chavarri in Baños de Ebro. This bodega boasts modern bottling plant. It has a capacity for 304,500 litres and markets approximately 500,000 bottles a year. The bodega is currently being expanded to age wines in French and American oak casks. The new aged wine will be marketed under the Señorío de Buruaga brand.
