Gold Tempranillo in 3th Edition Awards Tempranillos al Mundo (Shanghai 2007)
The grapes used to make this wine, 100% Tempranillo, come from vines from 50 to 100 years old. The fruit is harvested when fully ripe and the maximum production is 2.000 kg/hectare. Fermentation takes place in controlled temperature conditions with autochthonous yeast, macerating in the tanks for 10 days.
This wine is taken to fin grain Frenc (70%) and American (30%) oak cask for a total of 11 months before being marketed, with no filtration or fining process.
This wine improves with time, maintaining all its characteristics up to 10 years.
Serve at 17ºC. Recommended with meat, game, stews, cold cuts and cheese.
