TASTING NOTES
It displays a ruby-red colour with a faint brick-red rim, bright and with good depth. On the nose, the first impression is of ripe fruit aromas with hints of leather and a pleasant vanilla fragrance, recalling its time ageing in the barrel. It has a powerful, vigorous attack, still rounding off the rough edges, with good backbone, mouth-feel and a long finish with a very pleasant, persistent aftertaste. A wine for laying down with a very promising medium to long term future evolution..
All its organoleptic and structural features prepare it for excellent evolution during the reducing phase in the bottle..
It is particularly recommended for drinking with meat and game casseroles and to accompany semi-mature cheese. It should be served at between 16º and 18º C.
