It was around 1940 when this cellar started elaborating its so characteristic wine, but, in 1975, Cándido Besa started his own trading. This cellar has a capacity 150,000 litres. The family owns 10 Ha of vineyards which are between 5 and 100 years old. The varieties of grape are 90% Tempranillo and 10% Viura. The wine is elaborated by carbonic maceration of the full grain of grape, which adds special organoleptic characters, together with a very characteristic fruit flavour.
