The origins of the family winery Eusebio Larreina go
back more than four generations. This winery has always produced
good wine. In 1990, wine grower Felix Larreina began to market his
production bottled and labeled. Nowadays his sons follow in his
footsteps at the head of the winery and continue to produce their wines
using the traditional carbonic maceration process which consists of
throwing whole bunches of grapes into the fermentation tanks which
give their wines their desired color and aroma. Over time, they have
come out with Crianza and Reserva wines under the label of ?Heredad
Larreina?. The winery has two underground caves that make perfect
cellars that are just the right temperature and degree of humidity for
aging their wines in oak barrels.
