Bodegas y Viñedos Artuke is a truly family-run winery
which proves its commitment to quality harvest after harvest. They
produce a balance of quality and quantity using only the grapes grown
with great care in their vineyards, a high percentage of which are over
40 years old. Following tradition, wine is produced through carbonic
maceration, which, in addition to the use of modern ecological
technologies, allows them to obtain wines of great quality. They
continue to crush the grapes with their feet, as well as using the vertical
press, thereby obtaining the must more smoothly. As evidence of their
good work, they possess the Gold Medal from the International Wine
Challenge in Bordeaux May 2001 and Bronze Zarcillo 2001.
