Bodegas Riolanc uses
the traditional fermentation method of Rioja Alavesa, the well-known
carbonic maceration. The first wine that a human being drank was
probably made using this method. This results in the grape must
making contact with the yeasts, initiating fermentation. The carbonic
maceration method allows Bodegas Riolanc to obtain well-balanced
wines with intense colour, a great extraction of aromas and lots of
body. Full-bodied in mouth with a long finish, Riolanc Vendimia
Seleccionada is a great match with red or white meat, charcuterie
and/or farmhouse cheese.
